Our mission is to provide unique and unusual accessories for your dance at affordable prices. In addition, we wish to enhance the local dance community by providing a comprehensive source of Middle Eastern Dance information focused on the Washington DC Metro area.  These pages are continually being updated and expanded, so please visit often!

Appointments

Arrangements can be made to accomodate customers who need to see specific items or would like to personally pickup their orders.  Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to arrange an appointment.  In general, appointments are available in Springfield Virginia on weekends during the day.  Special appointments may be made at other nearby locations for large orders.

In addition, Cleopatra's Closet vends through our online store and at selected local events.  Purchases made at vending events and private appointments are may not be eligible for online store discounts.

International Orders

Orders to be delivered outside the United States and its territories will be shipped after payment is received.  Payment may be sent via money order in US Dollars only.  Sorry, credit cards are no longer accepted for international orders.  Please contact us at info@CleosCloset.com if you require international delivery to place your order.

Online Store Return/Exchange Policy

If for any reason you are not satisfied with any product purchased online from us, please contact us immediately to arrange for a return or exchange. Return your order with receipt within ten business days of purchase and we'll gladly provide a refund or exchange for the cost of the product. Videos and CD's must be returned in their original, unopened packaging. Defective videos and CD's may be exchanged for the same merchandise only, pending availability. All other merchandise must be returned in new, unused condition with tags still attached and free of odor from smoke or pets.

Purchases from vending events or walk-in appointments are generally non-returnable.


Purchases from Ebay Auctions are returnable within 7 days subject to the conditions below.


Shipping charges are non-refundable.  All returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and/or packing slip.  Wrap the package securely. Returns/exchanges must be recieved in their original condition to be accepted. For your protection, we recommend that you obtain delivery confirmation or insurance on your return shipment. Returns and exchanges may take up to ten business days to process.  Returns of credit card purchases will be credited to your account.  We will send a refund check for orders purchased via check or money order.

Please do not return any item without first contacting us for authorization.  Order carefully, and forward any questions regarding sizes and color of items to us before placing your order.  We cannot accept returns except in cases where we have been in contact with you via email, phone, fax, letter, or in person, in advance, and have determined that a return or exchange can be accepted.

Returns received 30 days after the purchase date on the receipt are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Online Store Holiday Returns & Exchanges Policy

  • All purchases made between Thanksgiving Nov. 22 and December 24, are considered "gifts" and qualify for an extended return/exchange period beyond our normal return policy of 10 business days.

  • Used merchandise or merchandise return in other than it's original condition do not qualify for the holiday gift extended return/exchange policy.

  • Returns/exchanges for holiday gifts begin Dec. 26.

  • The last day for gift returns/exchanges for holiday gifts is Jan. 11.

Shipping/Handling and Tax Rates

Note:  Please email us at info@CleosCloset.com before placing your order if you require Express or Overnight delivery!  Additional charges apply.

We ship all items US Priority Mail.  You may also choose to add shipping insurance and/or delivery confirmation.  For more information on US Priority Mail shipping rates, please see the United States Postal Service website.

Please allow 5 business days for delivery.  Tax rates are as follows in the table below.  Your order will be adjusted to reflect the actual cost of shipping.  In most cases, you will actually be billed less than the estimated shipping cost.

Tax:
Maryland Residents 6 % tax
New Jersey Residents 7 % tax
Virginia Residents 5 % tax

All costs are in US Dollars.  Please contact us for shipping costs to locations outside the continental USA.

  • You will be provided with a total price quote, including shipping and tax if necessary.

    Payment may be made via credit card, check or money order.  Items will be shipped by insured mail when payment is received.  Your order can only be held for 5 business days while we await your payment.  We will attempt to contact you by email if payment is not received by that time.  However, if contact cannot be made, and payment is not received, we will assume that the order is cancelled.
